01 — Commodity Marketing & Trading

Agricultural lots are structured under the exact same commercial rigor as precious metals: named origin estate, verified grade, phytosanitary clearance, and dedicated flight/vessel booking.

02 — Commercial Terms

CIF first. FOB on buyer instruction.

The Incoterm determines who nominates the flight or vessel. Both terms sit on the same desk with origin, grade, and customs fully documented.

Working Incoterm

CIF · Cost, Insurance & Freight

We write the aircraft or vessel. We manage origin logistics, inland transit, local export customs, cargo insurance through to destination, and freight booking to your named airport or port.

  • Named destination airport (NBO, EBB, KGL, JNIA) or ocean port in the contract
  • Comprehensive marine/air all-risks cargo insurance (Institute Cargo Clauses A)
  • Air waybill or Ocean Bill of Lading in the same dossier as the phytosanitary cert
  • Recommended for offtakers who require delivered commercial pricing

On Buyer Instruction

FOB · Free on Board

The buyer nominates and books the flight or vessel space. We deliver the cargo onto the aircraft or vessel at JKIA, Entebbe, Kigali, Mombasa, or Dar es Salaam, with all customs export clearances completed.

  • Buyer nominates carrier, flight number, or vessel schedule
  • Origin preparation, grading, packing, and departure export clearance sit on our desk
  • Equal diligence and documentation as CIF; carrier contract held by the buyer
  • Ideal for trading houses with standing global carrier space contracts

03 — Shipping & Logistics Solutions

Protecting moisture, cup score, and delivery timelines.

Agricultural cargo requires delicate environmental management. We design supply chains that prevent moisture damage, condensation, and transit delays.

Air Freight Allocations

Direct allocations on wide-body scheduled flights (Kenya Airways, Ethiopian, Qatar) and full charters out of JKIA, Entebbe, and Kigali for premium micro-lots.

Desiccated Containers

Kraft paper lining, silica gel desiccants, and moisture-controlled corrugated container dressing for ocean transit through Mombasa and Dar es Salaam.

Phytosanitary Clearance

Direct coordination with KEPHIS, MAAIF, and national plant protection organizations: fumigation certificates, radiation testing, and GMO-free declarations.

Transit Escort

GPS-monitored inland trucking from remote estates in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Eastern DRC directly to export bonded warehouses.
